Interactive 3D-Animation
Interactive 3D-Animation is a main field of study at the University of Ulm,
Faculty of Computer Science,
Department of Media Informatics.
The project was the development of a 3D-Game with focus on character-animation.
Characters
There are four Characters the Player can choose to play any discipline with. The notorious Captain 'P!' Puck, the sunny minded Curt Caveman, the muscular Jimmy and last but not least, the all natural beauty Tamia .
Captain 'P!' Puck
Being the son of a notorious pirate, puck was thrown over board as a child during a mutiny.
Because he was a good swimmer he was able to rescue himself by reaching an island.
There he called himself in memory of his father "Captain P! Puck". Alone on this island,
he felt so bored, that he spent the whole day dancing. As he was so much bored, he
decided to participate in the Bizarre Island Games.
Curt Caveman
Curt Caveman is about 1.80 meters tall, rather overweight and muscular. Special characteristics:
Beer belly, beard, bald head, broad grid, sunny mind, hairy, scruffy, nevertheless a womanizer due
to his sporty successes. In the running mode Curt wears a fashionable helmet for safety reasons
with his starting number 03. His robe consists of 90 per cent bear skin and 10 per cent polyester.
Jimmy
Jimmy is known as the strongest man throughout the island and has won the last five "Mr. Island" elections in a row. He loves lying in the sun and doesn't miss any opportunity to get an even darker teint. So he wears only the most necessary and has even shaved his natural blonde, curled hair. Another leftover of his Swedish ancestors are his blue eyes and the clear voice of his mother Agneta, who once was a famous singer.
Tamia
Tamia is an all natural 23 year-old native American beauty with a height of 1.75m (90 60 90 :). Her father, the ruler of her home island, has arranged a marriage with a man that doesn't live up to Tamia's expectations, to say the least. He is old, fat and ugly. A fierce argument starts between her and her father as Tamia wants to choose her future husband herself. Finally they reach an agreement: If she succeeds in a number of tournaments she will have proven herself and thus be allowed to make a choice of her own.
