The Workshop on Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks is organized by the German Informatics Society (GI)/ Information Technology Society (ITG) specialized group 3.3.1 ( Kommunikation und Verteilte Systeme), the GI specialized group 4.9.2 (Multimedia) and the University of Ulm.

Conference Goals          
It is the aim of this workshop to bring together researchers of the german-speaking area working in the field of Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking to exchange ideas and visions. It offers them an oportunity to present their projects and discuss ideas for new research activities.
The workshop is to cover the entire spectrum of the research area "Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks". Topics include (but are not limited to):
  • Fundamental Technologies (802.11, Bluetooth, etc.)
  • Routing Mechanisms
  • Scalability and Simulations
  • Quality of Service
  • Address Autoconfiguration and Connection to the Internet
  • Security and Privacy in Ad-Hoc Networks
  • Power Management
  • Software Platforms (Middleware) for Mobile Ad-Hoc Scenarios
  • MANET applications + location-based service-provision
The workshop will be divided into different subject; apart from lectures there will also be moderated discussions. Furthermore sufficient space for individual discussions will be provided.
Submission of Contributions
There are two ways to submit contributions. You can submit either full contributions which present unique work on a subject in the field of Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks or you can submit a short paper which presents new research ideas, positions, or work in progress.
All submissions should (if possible) be written in German, but we will also accept english contributions. Please ensure that your submissions has not been published elsewhere and that it is not under review for any other publication.
All presentations during the workshop will mainly be held in german, but on request of the participants and/or the speaker, single presentations like keynotes may be held in english .
All contributions must be submitted in PDF format. If you experience problems when creating PDF, please consult the conference organization for assistance. Please read the author guidelines of the GI-series Lecture Notes in Informatics. Document styles for Word and LaTeX will be available here for download soon.
All full submissions should be not longer than 20 pages (using the style-files provided), short papers not longer than 8 pages.
The submission of contributions will soon be possible via these web pages. The proceedings of the workshop will be published in the series "GI - Lecture Notes in Informatics".
